Stephen Gagne |
Stephen Gagne joined Toastmasters in August 2006. Over the past few years, Stephen has served the University of Ottawa club as Vice President of Membership and Vice President of Education.
Last year, Stephen had the opportunity to serve the University of Ottawa Toastmasters club as President.
Last year, Stephen had the honour of winning both the District 61 Speech Evaluation and Table Topics contests as well as taking third place in the French International Speech contest. He attributes his successes in competitions to the learning environment fostered in Toastmasters Clubs. |

Dave Blaney |
David Blaney joined Toastmasters in October 2003 and was a chartering member of the University of Ottawa Toastmasters in 2006. Dave has held positions of President, Vice President of Public Relations and served as Area Governor for Area 20 in 2009/10 and for Area 21 in 2010/11. David is also the current President for the Visioneers Advanced Toastmasters club.
Outside of Toastmasters, David is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and works for the Canada Revenue Agency as a Resource Management Project Leader. He attributes his success as a coach, trainer and meeting facilitator to the many skills practised in the Toastmasters program.
David is currently working on certification in project management (PRINCE2) and learning the ropes as an organizational change management leader. |
